With Infoedit you are able to design the whole application for the Infodisplay, including declaration of network-variables, build-in variables and the menu-based frontend.

With the Infoedit it is possible to create the application without writing a single line of sourcecode. All you have to do is to create your variables, design your GUI and configure the application accordingly. Then, with the help of a LonWorks® -Compiler (LonBuilder, NodeBuilder or fieldcompiler), the application- , the menu- and the bitmap-files are created in order to be downloaded into the Infodisplay.

The download of the application data can be done by a networkmanagement- or a development-tool. Downloading the menu- and bitmap-data can be done via a buildin RS232-interface in the Infodisplay or through the filetransfer-protocol.
